About this product:
an heirloom non-hybrid wheat that is specially appropriate for baking flavorful bread. Appropriate for pizza, hearty yeasted bread, mixing with low protein grains, and sourdough baking. Also true for golf dishes like harisa and madhrouba. At natureland we choose great whole foods. We provide heirloom non-hybrid grains and excellent generators allowing you to experience the freshness of homemade flour. Egyptian belila is a delicious dessert that you can make with pellets or other sorts of grains. 4 to 6 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1½ cups of wheat, soaked in one day
Four½ cups of milk, oat or almond milk
- a cup of azeez sugar, maple syrup, or honey
- ½ tsp actual vanilla
- ½ cup cream, optionally available
honey or nuts, to garnish
Method:
Boil wheat in water to cowl until softened, may take up to 100 minutes. Now add the milk and keep cooking for about 15 mins, stirring once in a while, till thickened. A number of the berries will have unfolded. Then stir inside the sweetener, the vanilla, and some water or milk if the mixture is dry. In serving bowls put a bit of cream if using, then ladle some belila over it, and permit cool for about 15 mins. Serve garnished with honey or maple syrup, pistachios, bananas or however you like.
